Shehu Abdulahi is pleased that his club, Bursaspor, are back to winning ways after losing three straight games in the Turkish topflight division, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Abdulahi made his 12th appearance for Bursaspor on Saturday when they bagged 4-1 away win against Karabukspor who had a player sent off in the game.
The Nigeria international who was yellow carded in the 72nd minute of the ill tempered encounter congratulated his new coach, Mustafa Er, and his teammates on the win.
“Good to be back to winning ways, congratulations to the coach and my teammates. We appreciate our patient fans for their massive support!,” Abdullahi tweeted after the match on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Abdullahi’s compatriots, William Troost Ekong and Mikel Agu were unused substitutes in the encounter.
It was the second game in a row that the pair were left out of Bursaspor’s starting lineup.
William Troost Ekong has made 25 appearances for the club, scoring twice while Mikel Agu has 22 games under his belt scoring twice as well.
They were regular starters for Bursaspor under former manager Paul Le Guen until his dismissal.
